10 days before his birthday, my father is admitted to the hospital for excess fluids in his lungs and heart. Things don't look too good as the doctors are going prepare him for dialysis in the future; most likely to start treatment in January 2007.
I am not going to lie. I am worried. Living halfway across the other side of the globe doesn't make it easier. All I can do is to pray.. and listen to music.
The CD player has been on all day long. It has helped me keep my mind off worrying. All from the 60's to Enya's soothing melodies. I forgot how music can fill my heart and heal the aching soul.
