I'm blessed

I'm blessed in many ways; I'll mention a few before I call it a day.

1. Blogging happy-me label shows the many things that I am thankful for, every single day.

2. I'm blessed to have a supportive husband who still makes my heart skip a beat :)

3. I am blessed to be a mom to a 3½year old whose energy would put the energizer bunny to shame hahahaha. I am lucky to be part of his thirst for knowledge and his never-ending 'why? what happens then? why?' questions eventhough there are days I feel too exhausted to deal with him.

4. I am grateful every single day for technology because I can call my parents, sister and friends back back home via telefon, chatting on Skype, via webcam, SMS... amazing!

5. I am grateful for the internet for the knowledge I've gained all these years, and yes, including Facebook! hahahaha

What are you thankful for? Find the smallest things that you find a blessing.. even if it as small as 'i am blessed to be alive'. Thats big.. massive. and most of us live life as though we are dead.

I'M ALIVE! ! ! !

  1. Every one's heard the saying, "tomorrows not promised." Well, for each and everyday GOD allows me to open my eyes, that should be enough by average thinking, but I'm not average nor my life. Being, 48 years old shows that Imblessed, but let me take it a little further by painting a full and complete picture about my life.

At, a very young age, as I recall mom saying I was eight, my mother and I were invited out to a pool party amongst friends. Knowing what I know now, my mother being a strong and protective parent, became the opposite of what was about to happen on this sunny day. Today, was Saturday and for the first time she claimed, I was allowed to have someone closer to me than her. Sitting by the edge of the Washington heights pool with my mother on one side and me on the other today seems strange. Genie, a close friend of my mother sat between us they talk about the good old days. Somehow, within seconds I had fallen into the pool without a witness anywhere. Seconds, were passing as a feeling came over my excited mother and in she went. To make a very long story short, God had a plan for me. ImBlessed!

  2. Joel's story remindedm me of an occurence with my mother. My mon fit the same profile as his , being an RN made her the neighborhood nurse. One day at dinner , I started to choke on a piece of meat, and anyone who had this experience knows the feeling. My mom noticed I was not my usual chatterbox and saw what was happening. She flung the chair I was sitting on across the room and performed the Heimlich maneuver and out came the obstruction.Just days before that , she was trained on this new life saving technique. I still hope god has a plan for me.
